Ready for Santorini

With a work that looked very challenging, Designer, Lissa Yeon Yi Koo tried to make this collection fun by using fabrics of both neoprene and laces. As she claims, the neoprene made the design sporty. And the lace, which made it extremely feminine. By combining a few different feelings in a single work, this dress expresses a class of elegance and sportiness while not one overbearing another.

Tango Pouch

The Tango Pouch is an outstanding bag with a truly innovative design. It is a wearable piece of art worn by the wristlet-handle it allows you to have your hands free. Inside is enough space and the folding magnet closure construction gives an unexpected easy and wide opening. The Pouch is made with soft waxed calf skin leather for an incredibly pleasant touch of the handle and puffy side inserts, intentionally contrasting with the more constructed main body made from so-called glazed leather.

Conspiracy - Sandal shaped jewels-

Gianluca Tamburini's line of "sandal/shaped jewels", called Conspiracy, was founded in 2010. Conspiracy shoes effortlessly combine technology and aesthetics. Heels and soles are made from materials such as lightweight alluminium and titanium, wich are cast in sculptural forms. The silhouette of the shoes are then highlighted by semi/precious stones and other lavish embellishments. High technology and cutting edge materials form a modern sculpture, having the shape of a sandal, but where the touch and experience of skilled Italian craftsmen are still visible.

Couple shoes

The design was inspired by a traditional Chinese story named "To Borrow Arrows with Thatched Boats", when two kingdoms were in a war. It was interpreted in the designer's own way, inspiring the designer to create a pair of shoes with two different design but yet consistent and connected. The designer wanted to express the story with the shoes representing a couple in a fight, delivering the story that even in hard times they are inseparable. The design is two physically functional and wearable footwear that were made with non traditional material but with traditional techniques.
