This work combines the palace lantern craft of China's intangible cultural heritage, using rosewood pear as the bone and silk gauze and glass as the coat. The combination of iron wire skeleton and silk gauze is both light and flexible, and layers of exterior insect skeleton are constructed on the human body. It's beautiful and fragile, flimsy and tough, and it shows the X-ray world of life.

Constructive steel parts made by various craftsmen are distinctive visual feature of the product, which gives the bag an architectonic appearance. The essential peculiarity of the bag are two typewriter’s keys which are self manufactured and assembled by the designer herself.

The insole is removable and washable, and it can be removed and washed in water for cleaner use.

It explores unorthodox construction and fastening methods, creating unique yet diverse interactions between the shoe and the user, providing a new level of improvisation and customization for your day-to-day look. Veg-tanned leather with various thicknesses and metal hardware is used across the pack. Each design was explored and validated through intensive prototyping to finalize the proportion, soling methods, and most importantly, closure system design.
Continue readingInspired by a fixed-gear cycle, Adley Fixi T1 watch is functional, robust and comfortable to wear throughout the day. The signature design of the watch is the unique case profile, central chainring design, crown position and styling of watch hands, lending a sporting touch reminiscent of the feeling of pedalling. The main challenge was translating the cycle element onto a mechanical watch, numerous 3D modelling and prototype to ensure a refined end product. A new assembly technical was applied to ensure the seamless fit to the watch housing.
