Xiao Jing

In Zaiyong Fa's childhood, people used to pack up their luggage with leather straps when they traveled, it was a good way to prevent the luggage from breaking up during the trip. This element is applied to the suitcase: the front shape of a hashtag, like straps that are used to pack up luggage, and the "X" pattern at the intersection is like a sewing thread. These unique elements enable this suitcase to be quickly identified among other products during the trip.

The Silk Road

This design tells about the Great Silk Road, a unique social phenomenon when the East became acquainted with the West and both worlds were enriched with knowledge of each other. Each item in the collection is made of natural fabrics and manually decorated with silk ribbons. Each item is a postcard from different places and tells its own story. Here you can see the rice terraces of China, and night in the Japanese garden, and patterns of wind on the sands in the desert, and feel the coolness of oases.

Topographic inspired design tote bag, to serve as an easy carryall, especially during those busy days spent shopping or running errands. The Tote bag capacity is like a mountain and can hold or carry many things. The oracle bone is form the overall structure of the bag, the topographic map form to be surface material just like a mountain uneven surface.

The founders come from a family that has been manufacturing footwear for Japanese private labels for the past 40 years. The core design of THEY is inspired by fundamental elements of the German Bauhaus movement and the aesthetics rooted in Japanese minimalism and architectural forms. We believe in creating a shoe that celebrates design itself, with each pair standing out with muted elegance.

Archi Folds

Archie Folds are inspired by the potential of Japanese origami techniques in architecture as a solution for flexible spatial usage. They enable spaces to stay functional for longer and fulfill their potential when owners and requirements change. Archi Folds is a strong spatial gesture at the same time easily transported or moved thanks to their compact fold. High performance structures can be unfolded into a myriad of different shapes due to their structural flexibility, allowing two identical products to be installed in completely unique manners, re-used in different shapes and sizes.

Code Prototype

The "Code Prototype" is a modular jacket. We deconstruct the jacket into three main parts: Collar, Sleeve and Body. Users can recombine the jacket form and functions by different parts, just like gears. Modular constructions are easier to fix or just changes the damages part. The users don't have to dump the whole jacket just because of small damage. We also hope this semi-customized design can make deeper connections between the products and human. Not just follow the “Fast Fashion”. We want to make fashion design more environmentally friendly and allow people to cherish their outfits.
