GreenPlax

Trying to protect the ecosystem and the environment, as well as to leave beautiful mother earth for future generations, Ccilu spent 5 years developing GreenPlax technology and created the first-ever footwear collection made primarily out of plastic bottles retrieved from the oceans. The recycled plastic bottles are used for every major component in the shoes, uppers, insoles, and outsoles, turns the hazardous wastes into green material, moreover, the GeenPlax is bottomed-up with 100+ independent and resilient dots to deliver barefoot comfort.

The Withering Flower

The Withering Flower is a celebration of the power of the flower image. The flower is a popular subject written as personification in Chinese literature. In contrast to the blooming flower’s popularity, images of the decaying flower are often associated with jinx and taboos. The collection looks at what shapes a community’s perception on what is sublime and abject. Designed in 100cm to 200cm length of tulle dresses, silkscreen printing on translucent mesh fabrics, the textile technique allows the prints to stay opaque and stretchy on mesh, creating an appearance of prints afloat in the air.

Utopia

In this collection, Yina Hwang was mainly inspired by shapes that are symmetric and asymmetric with a touch of underground music culture. She curated this collection based on her pivotal moment of self embracement to create a collection of functional yet abstract garments and accessories to embody the story of her experience. Every print and fabric in the project is original and she mainly used PU leather, Satin, Power Mash, and Spandex for the base of the fabrics.

Sense Move

Inspired by a famous choreographer - Yin Mei’s wise words “I can create an architecture space using my joints, which is already telling a story”, Sense Move Costume is a geometrical kinetic sculpture folding following along with the movement of the body. It communicates sensitively through the body movements of the dancers, and enhances the emotional transmission between the dancer and the audience. The different light effects express the costume’s emotions by the pressure sensor; for instance, a slow fade is breathing, and a flash conveys excitement.

The Silk Road

This design tells about the Great Silk Road, a unique social phenomenon when the East became acquainted with the West and both worlds were enriched with knowledge of each other. Each item in the collection is made of natural fabrics and manually decorated with silk ribbons. Each item is a postcard from different places and tells its own story. Here you can see the rice terraces of China, and night in the Japanese garden, and patterns of wind on the sands in the desert, and feel the coolness of oases.

RiutBag X35

RiutBag X35 puts travel security and flexibility first. It uses a unique origami folding mechanism to change capacity when a traveller needs more or less space. Just one travel bag can be used in compact mode for the commute or expanded to maximum airline cabin allowance. It is built for the solo traveller, commuter and airline passenger. RiutBag X35 is secure by design: its zips are hidden against the wearer's back, so it is automatically secure every time it is used.
