Eureka
Eureka is a lounge chair designed for living rooms. The form of Eureka is based on the Enneper surface, a mathematical model that gives the chair a sense of order and flow. The elaborate supporting structure remains stable and provides ergonomic comfort. Curved edges add visual tension and invite the user to sit or lie down. The interior is made of moulded glass steel and is covered with wool fabric from the Kvadrat Sprinkles series. The fabric stretches in all directions and shows coloured dots that change with the viewing angle.
Eureka Lounge Chair by Yeak design has been highlighted as an innovative representation of industrial design by the A' Design Award & Competition. Eureka Lounge Chair earned the Platinum A' Design Award in Furniture Design in 2023. The A' Furniture Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design prize which recognizes outstanding design of chairs, tables, sofas, beds, cabinets, shelves, desks, wardrobes and more.
