Tangens
Tangens is an office furniture system that was developed with the rapidly changing work environments and today's circumstances in mind. The aim was to merge the comfort of home offices with the modularity required for modern, agile, and sustainable workspaces. The design was inspired by a focus on the value of human relationships. The metaphor of embracing also appears on the objects themselves. The curved tubular frame recalls the graphic Bauhaus world, and sustainable materials show reverence for the power of nature.
Tangens Furniture Collection by Sara Kele has been recognized as a grand example of industrial design by the A' Design Award. Tangens Furniture Collection was awarded the Silver A' Design Award in Office Furniture Design in 2023. The A' Office Furniture Design Award is a highly prestigious, international, juried design accolade that celebrates outstanding design of desks, chairs, file cabinets, conference tables, cubicles, workstations, reception counters, office partitions and more.
