There are many different kinds of bracelets and bangles: designers, golden, plastic, cheap and expensive… but beautiful as they are, they all are always simply and only bracelets. Fred is something more. These cuffs in their simplicity revive the noblesse of old times, yet they are modern. They can be worn on bare hands as well on a silk blouse or a black sweater, and they will always add a touch of class to the person wearing them . Conductear

The Conductive loom brings a great innovation for the textile area, uniting art, technological innovation and sustainability. It is made with conductive wires, silk and cotton. Its main element is the wire wich is produced from an environmental liability, arising from the process of making biodiesel. Its main feature is to be conductor of energy thereby it is possible to discharge the static energy of the users, eliminating several problems caused by the accumulation of this energy: stress, insomnia, muscles pains, shocks and damage to electronics components.

Playtime

Playtime exists at the intersection of fashion design and interactive technologies. It references two key scenes of Tati’s film. Playtime explores the concept of transformation. In the context of a fashion show with sounds and lighting, the possibility for the viewer to photograph or shoot the dresses on video is rendered difficult: they will appear blurry in the recorded image. The first dress will appear blurry and the second dress will react to the flash of the camera, itself becoming a light source when a photo is taken.

Bamboo lattice

In Vietnam, we see the bamboo lattice technique in many products such as boats, furniture, chicken cages, lanterns... Bamboo lattice is strong, inexpensive, and easy to make. My vision is to create a resort wear fashion that is exciting and graceful, sophisticated and charming. I applied this bamboo lattice detail to some of my fashions by converting the raw, hard regular lattice to soft material. My designs combine tradition with modern form, the hardness of the lattice pattern and sand softness of fine fabrics. My focus is on form and details, bringing charm and feminineness to the wearer.

Bio-inspired fabric

Uniqueness :The textile can coil and uncoil upon human touch, can absorb carbon form from atmosphere based on the features of leaves and artificial photosynthesis and chances of providing water at locations where oxygen is less but exposure to sunlight is possible. Inspiration: memosa-pudica plant (bio-inspiration). Challenge: To deduce features of memosa pudica, artificial photosynthesis and incorporate into textile fabrication. Production : Two methods; First by compression rolling and second by edgebinding. Team Members: Pradeep Yammiyavar & Rajatesh Nath Barbhuiya.

UMBRELLA COAT

This raincoat is a combination of a rain coat, an umbrella and waterproof trousers. Depending on the weather conditions and the amount of rain it can be adjusted to different levels of protection. His unique feature is that it combines raincoat and umbrella in one item. With the “umbrella raincoat” your hands are free. Also, it can be perfect for sport activities like riding a bicycle. In addition in a crowded street you do not bump into other umbrellas as the umbrella-hood extends above your shoulders.
